Ski resort for the more experienced skier but the back country options including the Vallee Blanche are unique and amazing

Chamonix is a well known resort that attracts serious skiers mainly for its mountain touring and off-piste activities. For intermediate skier who sticks to the pistes the runs and variety can seem more limited than other larger and better connected resorts. Also not all the lifts are modernised.
